Anjelia, a strong, clever woman that promptly wrapped my heart around her little finger - I enjoyed reading about her dance of courtship between Julian and Leo. I did have some problems with how Julian manipulated her - as I really don't subscribe to the "if it's done in the name of love, then it's perfectly all right" idea. However, I did think that Rena did a great job of describing the subtleties and intricacies of falling in love with two men and what that entails. Also, even though first person is not often well done in erotic novels, Rena did a fantastic job on that front. In all, I'd suggest this to anyone who wants a steamy read to while away a lazy afternoon.
Anjelia Romere falls in love with Julian Bax, a known master vampire. Yet she is pursued relentlessly by the insane Leo Freedman, the werewolf king. Her life is turned upside down when she realizes her vampire betrayed her by erasing her memory of being the wolf queen.
Now she wonders if the vampires she loves are the good guys and if the wolves are really the villains. Especially when Leo breaks her mesmerization and she realizes why she fell in love so quickly after avoiding the vampires for years.
Already tied for life to the master vampire as his human servant, yet destined to be the wolf king's mate, Anjelia wonders who to choose. While both offer hot passion and steamy nights, one option is insanity, the other, death.
