Something Witchy This Way Comes

A Jolie Wilkins Novel

The paranormal novel, Something Witchy This Way Comes, is an enthralling tale guaranteed to give any paranormal reader a relaxing time. It is entertainment to the nth degree when it comes to suspense, twists and turns, and surprising characters. Jolie Wilkins is a strong Queen of the Underworld who makes hard decisions, yet balances them with compassion. She provides humor, wisdom, and spunk throughout her adventures. It’s a great book for a relaxing on a curl-up day. Something Witchy This Way Comes is a fast-paced, delightful story.

While Jolie is a strong character, her husband is a well-developed masculine counter-part for Jolie. He provides support and backs her up when she needs it. If you think this story is a bed of roses, well remember the thorns; yes, there are a few “thorns” in this story. For instance, Sinjin is the vampire with a bite: he’s the Queen’s Protector. He maybe debonair, but he’s also conniving and pays the price for it.

There is a host of characters, some old and some new, providing depth and background to this tale about a Queen, her retainers (complete with infighting), and an age-old enemy (the Lurkers) trying to start a war with her people. It’s complete with homicidal tendencies, kidnapping, love, and surprises for all. Something Witchy This Way Comes is the third book in the Jolie Wilkins series. It can stand alone, but it’ll be a better and quicker read if read in sequence.
