The Cowboy and the Angel

This was an absolutely amazing read. I love sexy cowboys that are alpha but romantic all in the same breath. This book had the perfect Cowboy!

The story was filled with passion and angst, the author has a true gift for storytelling and she had no problem drawing you right into the heart of the story. The writing is vividly descriptive, the story is well written and is filled with highly engaging twists and turns. There is lots of action, drama, suspense and an intimacy and chemistry between the main characters that was extremely tender and believable.

Derek and Angela have demons and each must work them out individually, they have to learn how to love and trust. Derek is one hot and sexy cowboy just trying to run the family business and Angel is a pesky reporter with lots of guilt and it just so happens that when she shoes up to do a story on Rodeos she captures his heart. The chemistry between the two sparks and heats up throughout the book. There were times when as a reader I wished that I could lecture both of them and tell them to get their acts together. The author gives us real characters in Derek and Angela, they are interesting and ultimately flawed in all the right ways. There always seemed to be something or someone getting in the way of their happiness, and it was entertaining to read how they managed to overcome these obstacles.

I absolutely recommend this book, it had it all! I found myself being pulled into a fantastic story that took me on a roller coaster ride of intense and conflicting emotions. If you love sexy hot romances with some action, humor and well written intimate scenes, then this is a book you should definitely read. It was well written, the plot was well thought out and as a reader I kept turning the pages to see what happened next. I was sorry when the book was finished, I wanted to keep on reading.

Book Blurb for The Cowboy and the Angel

Reporter Angela McCallister needs the scoop of her career in order to save her father from the bad decisions that have depleted their savings. When the opportunity to spend a week at the Findley Brothers ranch arises, she sees a chance to get a behind-the-scenes scoop on rodeo. That certainly doesn't include kissing the devastatingly handsome and charming cowboy Derek Chandler, who insists on calling her "Angel."

Derek has a rodeo to run and a chip on his shoulder. He has no time for the fiery woman who is clearly hiding something. But for some reason he can't keep his hands off of her. Their connection is instant and explosive, but Angela's secrets could threaten his family, and Derek needs to prove that he's not the irresponsible kid brother anymore.

When the rodeo dust has settled, will the Cowboy and his Angel allow themselves to give in to the attraction that threatens to consume them both?
