The Baby Bargain

A Once a Marine Series Book

The Baby Bargain wasn't entirely a lighthearted read; there were moments of passion and heartache throughout the book. The story of these two former lovers captivated me and held my attention throughout the entire time I spent reading about them. It was well written and the author did a fantastic job of telling this very heartwarming story. It was a great short read with lots of romance with some interesting twists and turns along the way.

I love stories about military men and the main character Adam is the perfect ex-marine who has his own demons to slay, he is sexy, smart and protective. Megan is a love from the past who is now becoming a large part of his future in more ways that he thinks he is ready for. I will not give any spoilers away except to say that their rekindled feelings for one another are full of emotion and a lot of little surprises along the way. They have fabulous chemistry together and the author did a great job in writing their story.

This is your typical second chance romance, but in saying that, if you love this kind of story, which I do, you will not be sorry that you picked this up. I always love a great story about lost and found loves, second chances and a great romance. There are small twists and turns in the plot that are surprising, sometimes sad, sometimes funny but always written with intense emotion and a lot of thought. I definitely recommend this book and I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
