Marine for Hire

Front and Center, #1

From page one I got hooked on the characters and the story. This was an awesome, heartwarming and emotional reading experience with its own brand of humor that had me laughing, crying and at times wanting to yell at both of the main characters for some of the antics they pulled. I love a great romance with a few twists and turns written into the plot and this had enough to make this a great read. The writing flowed effortlessly on the pages and it was easy to imagine everything that was happening.

First there is Sheridan. She is a newly divorced mother of twin boys. Her ex is an ex-military man and a complete jerk. She also has an overbearing brother who decides that she needs a protector and a nanny. Mix this all up and you have an interesting start to the story.

Then add Sam. He is the marine who is in limbo. One of Sam's best friends has secretly lusted after Sheridan for years. He is sexy as sin and as deadly as they come. Somehow he gets himself talked into being Sheridan's Nanny (or Manny, LOL). Can you imagine a big tough marine playing babysitter? Oh and he is not supposed to lay a finger on Sheridan. The chemistry is hot and the sexual tension is thick. The more they try to avoid any kind of relationship the hotter it gets!

I loved this story, there were moments of pure joy, tenderness, and warmth. There were also some pretty intense scenes and then some really funny moments that I couldn't help but laugh at. There was also some great sex! I think the author did a fabulous job and I definitely recommend this book. I am looking forward to the next one in the series. Happy Reading.

Book Blurb for Marine for Hire

She thought she’d sworn off military men for good…

Sam Kercher is every inch a wickedly hot Marine. Tall. Sexy. Lethal. When his best friends call in a favor, Sam is forced to face an entirely new line of duty—playing nanny for their newly divorced sister and her squirming seven-month-old twin boys. If Sam can dissemble an M16 in his sleep, diaper duty should be a cakewalk…right?

Unfortunately, Operation Nanny isn’t quite that simple. Sheridan has sworn off overbearing military men, so Sam must protect her from her dirtbag ex without revealing just how much he has in common with her brothers. Or that he’s been ordered not to touch her. Ever. Problem is, Sheri’s one hell of a gorgeous woman, capable of making this hard-bodied Marine even harder. And Sam wants her bad.

Protect the girl. Care for the babies. Hide his identity. And keep his hands off. But even the most disciplined Marine has weaknesses...and Sheridan is one Sam might not be able to resist.
