Vampires Realm, #8

I have missed reading the books in Ms. Heaton’s Vampire Realm Series. Like the other books in this series, this book did not disappoint at all, it had everything that I love in a paranormal romance. Ms. Heaton has a uniqueness in her writing that I absolutely love. This is a passionate read that will have you breathless in anticipation as the scenes intensify. There was fantastic character development, complex plot twists and magnificently detailed scenes that made you feel like you were a part of the story and living completely in the moment.

Tor is a sexy, strong, and arrogant man and portrays himself to be unemotional on the outside but underneath that facade he has his own personal self-worth issues that make him very vulnerable and this is one of the things about his character I love the most. Eve is a unique character herself, she is a beautiful woman and Tor’s to protect. They are sworn enemies that come together under the most unusual circumstances. The Chemistry was there from the beginning between Tor and Eve and even though it took them a while to act on that chemistry due to Tor’s complete stubborn nature as well as his insecurities and Eve’s denial of what she has become, when they do come together it is downright explosive and really hot.

I loved being able to read about how their relationship grows and how they form a bond between them through love and a passion for each other that cannot be broken. I love how Eve stands by Tor through everything that he must endure from his vampire brethren, she is there by his side when it counts the most. Tor amazes me in his understanding of her feelings and what she is ultimately facing as far as her fears are concerned. They complete each other perfectly.

The writing was flawless. The emotions were extremely intense, for the characters and for me as a reader as well. The romance was absolutely beautiful, Ms. Heaton has a way of putting pen to paper that makes you feel like you are right there in that place and time where the story happens. I would definitely recommend this story, especially if you have read the previous books in the series, if you haven’t I would recommend starting with book one but you don’t have to. Fantastic Read!
