Book one in the Redemption Series

Everyone abides by rules. Even the angels in heaven have rules that they must follow. Raphian was a guardian angel assigned to watch over Lissa Chase, a school teacher in a small town. He has loved her since the day she was born, and that love has grown and matured as she has reached womanhood. In a moment of overpowering desire, Raphian has come to Lissa in a dream, making love to her. By doing this, Raphian has broken the Maker’s rule about angels being forbidden to have sexual relations with the humans in their charge. Raphian is punished and cast out of heaven, with his wings stripped from him forever.

As Raphian collects his wits back on earth, he realizes that he must find a way to protect Lissa from the demons that are sure to come calling for him in order to collect his soul for hell. They will use her to get to him and he cannot allow them to harm her. Even without his heavenly powers, he knows that he can protect her if he can bind with her through their love. His love will shield her from any harm that the demons intend to inflict on her. He must move quickly though as the veil between both worlds is at its thinnest right now, and the demons are able to move about the earth with more ease at this time. With time running out, he must make her realize that he, and their love are indeed real and not products of her imagination and that she can trust him implicitly. Her very life and his depend on it.

Fallen is a very fast-paced fantasy romance that is full of hot sensuality, and the underlying theme is clear, love conquers all. Raphian and Lissa are the epitome of soul mates and reach out to each other not only on a physical level, but also on a spiritual one. Their bond helps them defeat situations that would otherwise be viewed as impossible.

The author, a firm believer in happy endings, does not disappoint her fans by delivering anything less in this short story. In fact, for being such a short story, it delivers the kind of satisfying punch that a story much larger would have delivered. All the necessary elements are there, a hero and heroine destined to be together, many obstacles to happiness and a glorious outcome. Fallen is definitely the perfect reading material when you feel like taking a break in your day and reading something that makes you feel good when you are done.

Book Blurb for Fallen

In all eternity, Raphian never desired anyone more than Lissa Chase. As her guardian angel, he couldn’t touch her. Or shouldn’t have. Taunted by demons, he succumbed. One forbidden night in Lissa’s arms was everything he’d imagined it would be. And it condemned him, casting him to earth.

Lissa is stunned when the stranger from last night’s erotic dreams walks into her life to pick up where the dreams had left off. When she discovers last night was reality, she’s thrust into a battle of good and evil. While she decides if she can allow Raphian into her life, every demon in the vicinity is after the fallen angel to bring him fully to their side—even if it means using the woman he loves as bait.
