Branded by Fire
Mercy is in a difficult position. She wants and needs a mate but her leopard won’t accept any male it deems inferior or unworthy. Riley is more than enough male for any woman but he is a wolf and Mercy’s leopard battles against her heart. If she accepts Riley then she must walk away from her pack.
Soon more than just Mercy and Riley’s destiny is at stake. Dark forces are gathering power with the sole purpose of binding free will. No species will be safe if these forces are not stopped. Mercy and Riley must set aside their differences and work together in order to protect their packs. Together they will find that love can overcome pack differences.
Nalini is an amazingly talented writer and I always recommend her to anyone and everyone. I enjoy her writing style and the way she grabs the reader and doesn’t let go until the very end and leaves them begging for more. I can’t wait for the next book she writes and will be waiting impatiently for the release date. I give Branded by Fire and Nalini an enthusiast 5 hearts.
Book Blurb for Branded by Fire
Hailed by Christine Feehan as “a major new talent,” New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh now brings together two fierce changelings in her most explosive story yet.Though DarkRiver sentinel Mercy is feeling the pressure to mate, she savagely resists when Riley Kincaid, a lieutenant from the SnowDancer pack, tries to possess her. The problem is not simply that he pushes her buttons; the problem is that he’s a wolf, she’s a cat, and they’re both used to being on top.
But when a brilliant changeling researcher is kidnapped from DarkRiver territory, Mercy and Riley must work together to track the young man—before his shadowy captors decide he’s no longer useful. Along the way, the two dominants may find that submitting to one another uncovers not just a deadly conspiracy, but a passion so raw that it’ll leave them both branded by fire…
