Rescuing the Bad Boy is an easy read and the second book in The Second Chance Series. Donovan left town and thought he would never look back. One of the precious things he left behind was Sofie. He almost destroyed her and now he's back in her life and is willing to fight for her. Sofie wants nothing to do with him but she doesn't really have a choice. She's forced to work with him on a job that could change her life.
As the book goes on you can see how protective Donovan is of Sofie and that was just so sweet. She gets annoyed, doesn't like him telling her what to do and her thoughts are so funny because according to her Bad Boy kisses make her excited.
I have always been a fan of lovers finding each other years later and getting it right. Sofie and Donovan are a perfect fit although I did not like the way he ended it the first time. For Sofie to trust him again was a very big deal for her and I was proud of her. I recommend this book for those who want to be taken on a journey of love and accomplishment.
