There's nothing better than a bad girl and Selene is the definition of the word. I personally think she was trying to turn her life around until the crap hit the fan with her business. Now the only person she can trust to help her is Tom and boy does she make his life interesting.
This was a fun read and I loved reading it. The beginning was a little slow for me, I had to take a couple breaks and come back to it, but it picked up. I recommend this book and hope others enjoy it as much as I did.
Selene Carter has always been a bad girl. She knows it, and everyone around her knows it too. With her business partner off on a dream honeymoon, Selene finds herself stepping up to handle their small private jet plane company alone. But life throws a curve ball—the easy to run business is suddenly under investigation for importing illegal goods and Selene’s never gotten along well with the law. Except for one cop.
Tom Barker has spent his life developing a career as a police detective. But something big is missing in his life. Fun. When Selene shows up looking for help, it’s impossible to resist her, just like the last time they were together. Just one problem—the last time they were together she left him falling hard and without a clue as to why she was gone. This time he’s determined he’ll get his man, or rather his woman, even if it takes a rockin’ game of good cop bad cop to do it.
