I felt "A Risk Worth Taking" was a decent story. It's a little slow at times with more talking than action. When it came to the action I thought it was great with the chase scenes and near-death experiences. Jamie is definitely an alpha man and used to taking charge, even while shadows of his past threaten to overwhelm him. Plus he's fighting an attraction that could get them killed. Samira doesn’t like being told what to do but to keep her alive she’ll do what she has to... even take the fight to her enemy. Samira thought she was safe from her enemy until her cover is blown, then she is forced to be aided by the man she knows. A man she doesn’t want help from but must. "A Risk Worth Taking" has great plot twists that helped keep the story moving along. After the first half of the book it really started moving along and I felt I was there with the characters.
