"Buried Mountain Secrets" by Terri Reed is the first story in her new mounted patrolman series. I am a huge fan of this author and it turns out that I love buried treasure stories. An eccentric millionaire has buried treasure and sends out scheduled clues to keep everyone on their toes. This money attracts and the curious, bored, and the crazy. Unfortunately Maya Gallo’s brother goes missing while on the hunt and Deputy Alex Trevino is on the case to protect the entire Gallo family.
There are so many things to like about this story. The heroine is sweet and protective over her brother. The deputy sheriff is just the type of hero she needs in her life. Did I mention that there is buried treasure? This book checks off all my boxes. This is Terri Reed’s best work!
The best part is that Terri Reed has created a wonderful small town with fascinating characters so she can give her readers many more stories. I can’t wait to find out what character is lucky enough to be matched the town’s only female deputy sheriff.
Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide.
Can they get off the mountain alive?
Desperate to find her missing teenage brother, Maya Gallo ventures into the Colorado Rockies expecting rough terrain—not deadly treasure hunters. But when she’s caught in their crosshairs, ruggedly handsome mounted patrolman Alex Trevino comes to her aid. The deputy sheriff knows what these bandits are capable of, so getting Maya—and her brother—home safely may be his hardest mission yet
