This is the first book from Allie Mackay (pen name for best selling author Sue Ellen Welfonder) in her paranormal Scottish romance series. I devoured this one from start to finish, couldn't put it down.
When tour guide Mara MacDougall spots an antique bed in a London Antique shop little did she know that her life was about to change in BIG ways. She is enchanted by the unique bed and has to have it what she didn't know was that there is a ghost attached to the bed, and not just any Ghost but that of a drop dead sexy Scottish warrior Sir Alexander Douglas.
Alexander has hated all MacDougalls since they brought about his untimely death, and he was cursed to spend eternity haunting the bed that none other than another cursed MacDougall has now purchased! But from the start something calls to him about this particular feisty and beautiful MacDougall. Indeed Mara is more than Alex had ever bargained for, and it isn't long before the sparks start to fly between them. Will haunted soul finally find the love of his life with the ancestor of his mortal enemy? And will the two of them end up sharing the bed that brought them together?
This is a must read in my opinion I truly enjoyed it more than I have a ghost book in a long long time. Great characters, funny laugh out loud moments and a ghost that makes me wish my own bed were haunted! I think I need to go antique shopping! :)
She's fallen in love with an antique bed. But the ghostly Highlander it comes with is more than she bargained for... Tour guide Mara MacDougall stops at a London antique shop-and spots perhaps the handsomest bed ever. Then she bumps into the handsomest man ever. Soon Mara can't forget the irresistible-if haughty-Highlander. Not even when she learns that she's inherited a Scottish castle. Spectral Sir Alexander Douglas has hated the Clan MacDougall since he was a medieval knight and they tricked him into a curse-the curse of forever haunting the bed (the very one that Mara now owns) that was once intended for his would-be bride. But Mara makes him feel what no other MacDougall has-a passion that he never knew he'd missed.
