Stevie Baci is having a terrible day. Her company, Napa Princess Limousine, has been hired by her ex-boyfriend, Emerson, to drive him and his new fiancée around. To make matters worse, Stevie’s family is hosting Emerson’s wedding at their vineyard and Stevie has been placed in charge as their wedding planner. The only bright side of this situation is Jack Parini, the brother of the bride. His job is to make sure that Stevie doesn’t ruin his sister’s wedding, but things may not go as planned because Stevie may just steal Jack’s heart before this is all over.
Then He Kissed Me is the second novel in the trilogy about the Baci sisters and their Napa Valley vineyard. I haven’t read the first one in the series, but it is definitely next to read on my list. I really enjoyed this novel and I truly felt for Stevie. She is trying to make the best out of a difficult situation while keeping her sanity intact. Stevie seemed to come off as a complete tomboy that kept finding herself surrounded by happy couples getting married and who was never able to find her own happy ever after. Jack presented himself as being this arrogant jerk in the beginning and I love how he transitioned into Stevie’s prince charming by the end. This was a delightfully romantic love story about finding love in unexpected places and I loved every minute of it.
The three Baci sisters are on a mission to save the family winery by transforming it into a wedding destination. When Stevie Baci playfully names her own side business Napa Princess Limousine, she never dreams she'll be driving a real prince around Napa Valley.
Jacques Parini, aka "Jack", is looking to expand his family's wine interests. But after kissing Stevie, he finds this California girl in a black chauffeur's hat does more than drive him crazy.
