Wow! Donna Stone is back with a vengeance! This sizzling novel is number 7 in the outrageously fun Housewife Assassin series, and let me be the first to say, it is a blast to read. The story is a non-stop adventure ride full of more twists and turns than a roller coaster. I didn’t put it down once as I was reading, much to my husband’s chagrin. There are lots of laugh out loud moments, as each of the characters gets into more than enough mischief. There’s also the perfect amount of spice and sizzle that keeps the story moving on a fast track. As a huge fan of the series, I would recommend reading the books in order, so you can get the full advantage of all of the Donna drama! For new readers, please, hang on and enjoy the ride! It’s one you won’t soon forget.
Donna and Jack are back from their last adventure and ready to start another hair raising Acme task. But there’s a problem. Now that there’s a new President, and a new Deputy of Intelligence who’s got Acme in his sights, Acme, and the Stones, are persona non grata in the intelligence community! So what’s a housewife assassin to do? Why, consult on a movie, of course! And when the movie ends up being a story of her life? Well, then all bets are off. When “accidents” on the set start to occur, Donna and Jack know something is up. In the meantime, they’re off on their own separate adventure. Can they stop the new Deputy of Intelligence from dismantling Acme and throwing them all in jail? Or will all their hard work be for naught? Never fear, the Housewife Assassin is here....
With foes in high places, what's a girl to do to put food on the table—let alone stay alive? If you're housewife assassin Donna Stone, you accept a Hollywood producer's offer to turn your life into a film.
Lights, cameras and non-stop action await Donna and Jack as they use the movie's exotic location shoots to track down crucial intel needed to take down the Quorum. There will be plenty of close-ups and too many close calls. But nothing—including a lascivious leading lady, deadly stunt doubles, or being on Interpol's Most Wanted list—will stand in their way.
