The Dark Heroine

A Dark Heroine Novel, #1

WOW! This book is fantastic! It is a novel that starts off at a very fast pace and never once slows down. It is a very elaborate story, and could very easily be spun into a very long and beautiful, and possibly almost epic, series of novels. May I say that I truly hope it is? The characters show a remarkable depth and development, and I found them all utterly enchanting, although there were so many I lost track of who was who. If it’s not clear by now, I really did enjoy this book, and I believe that anyone seeking a truly enchanting paranormal romance, this book delivers.

Violet Lee had no idea what she was getting into when she ran to Trafalgar Square late one night to escape a cheating boyfriend. What she got was a blood bath and an adventure she never could have imagined in her wildest dreams. Enter in Kaspar Varn, a gorgeous vampire who abducts her and makes her a political prisoner. Since she’s the daughter of a ranking member of the human British Parliament, her abduction is major news. And Violet is not about to make things easy on him, either. But when she reaches Varnley, his family holding, she realizes all is not what it seems. Violet must come to terms with what is happening to her, and what her future holds. But what no one realizes is that her future is intimately tied to that of Varnley and the vampire race and that of the other Dark beings. Can she come to terms with who she really is, and what she really is? Can Kaspar come to terms with it? Can the two of them find a way to deal with their fates and still be together? Come along on the adventure. You won't want to miss it.
