I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Bitch. It, to me, is all about people with more money than sense, and the social skills to survive virtually anything and get what they want. The characters are, as always, vibrant and full of life and attitude, which is indicative of a novel by Ms. Collins. Once again, this novel is a rip roaring adventure that will span the globe, never once slowing down. Fans of Ms. Collins will find this sequel to The Stud a very worthwhile addition. Having been a long time fan of hers, I find her novels are always fun and engaging and full of thrilling dialogue and characters. This was a truly exhilarating novel, and one that will enchant readers once again for decades to come.
Nico Constantine is an enigma. A wealthy Greek playboy widower set adrift in America, Nico has a talent for attracting the wrong sort of people, and engaging in some dangerous activities. He is a good friend to Nico, who can always be trusted to help a friend in need, often ignoring his own needs to escape the dreaded Susanna. Three individuals, all used to having their lives ordered exactly the way they planned. Three individuals who will risk life and love to win it all. Who will succeed? Join the party and discover the winner for yourself.
The best-selling novel by Jackie Collins is back, and fierce as ever! Las Vegas. A carousel town set in the middle of the desert. Blazing neon signs promise all the vices known to man, and then some. Devastatingly handsome ladies' man Nico Constantine hits town to make a killing at the casinos. But instead of tripling what's left of his dwindled fortune, he ends up losing everything, and owing the mob -- big time. Meanwhile, gloriously beautiful Fontaine Khaled has shed her filthy rich husband for the life she really wants: a riotous whirl of champagne, designer clothes, and the hottest, sexiest men. But her never-ending party comes with a price -- one even her ex-husband's outrageous alimony payments can't afford. When Nico collides with Fontaine, their mutual lust is immediate and intense. Nico will need to use her if he wants to stay alive, and Fontaine fears she's met her match. Love is the last thing on their minds, but it may be their fate -- if their creditors don't get them first. Completely re-written, updated and revised for 2012 by the author.
