Solomon's Sieve

The Order of the Black Swan, #7

Let me first begin by stating that I have been a tremendous fan of the Order of the Black Swan series since I first read My Familiar Stranger, Book 1 in this outstanding series. One character that was long standing throughout the series but had little of his own story was Sovereign Solomon Nemamiah. He’s a great character, very strong in his beliefs and willing to fight for them. He’s the backbone of the entire Black Swan B-Team! With this novel, this very deserving character finally gets to tell his tale. The story is beautiful and in turns, both heart breaking, and heartwarming. Author Victoria Danann has outdone herself with this, the 7th novel in the series. One word of caution: please read the books in order, so nothing is missed. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to the saga that is The Order of the Black Swan, and one that I absolutely loved.

Sovereign Solomon Nemamiah has seen a lot in his time as Sovereign for Jefferson Unit. But one thing has escaped his notice at Jefferson Unit until recently: a rare and beautiful Operations Manager. Why on earth did he never notice her beautiful smile, or her adorable mannerisms? Sol is determined to remedy that oversight, and, during a weekend escape to her beach house, he asks her to marry him. She says yes, but during an outing, Sol is fatally injured. As he is dying, he swears to come back and finish his business. Back at Jefferson Unit, Z Team, along with new member Glen Catch, is escorting new Black Swan employee Dr. Mercedes Renaux, to Bulgaria for a case. What no one knows is that Raif and Mercedes already have quite a history. When a dangerous explosion separates them from the group, can Mercedes and Raif overcome their past and survive? And will Sol fulfill his dying oath and come back? Or is all hope for Jefferson Unit lost with Sol’s death?

Book Blurb for Solomon's Sieve

When Sovereign Solomon Nemamiah lay dying on a beach under an overturned vehicle with his fiancé helplessly sobbing next to him, he made a vow to himself that he would refuse to stay in some arbitrary afterlife. He silently promised to return and finish what he started with The Order of the Black Swan and the love of his life. When the new Sovereign of Jefferson Unit begins saying and doing things that remind people of Sol, it raises suspicion in the minds of people who were closest to him.

The mutated and more aggressive strain of vampire virus surges back to the forefront of The Order’s priorities forcing retirees to be recalled and trainees to be inducted earlier than ever before.

Meanwhile, The Order sends Z Team with its newest member, Glendennon Catch, to escort new recruit, Dr. Mercedes Renaux, to Bulgaria. Her mission is to shut down and investigate an archeological site that may contain irrefutable evidence that vampire exist. Their mission is to protect her.
