A Vampire Blood Courtesans Romance

Can I just say that I love the whole Blood Courtesans series? Pursued is one of the numerous tales that all include plenty of passion, and more than a little danger. Each tale has it’s own very strong characters, each with their individual motives for becoming a Blood Courtesan. This is Mia’s tale. Mia is a very bright student, who, against her better judgment, decides to become a Blood Courtesan to help pay for her school tuition. Renato is a vampire, and one who has plenty of secrets to hide. I found them to be witty and engaging, and thoroughly enjoyed this tale. I will state that it’s not for the younger readers, but perhaps the young at heart.

Mia has a problem. Her school tuition is piling up, and there’s no way she can pay it. Medical school is never cheap, and the only thing Mia can think of to do is become a courtesan. A Blood Courtesan to be precise. After signing up for the service, her first task is a vampire ball in Salem. It’s also the first time she runs. But vampires are persistent, and when the vampire Renato asks for her for 3 days, Mia is floored. She accepts, not considering the consequences. After all, it’s just blood and sex, right? No one said anything about love. Or danger. As the relationship grows between Mia and Renato, a threat from his past is coming closer to threated Mia. Before they know it, the three days are up. Can Mia survive being away from Renato now? Does he dare tell her of the silent threat sneaking up on her? Or does he dare open his home, and heart, and risk his safety, just to be with her? Only time will tell.

Book Blurb for Pursued

It was only meant to be three nights...

After watching my mother die, becoming a Blood Courtesan is key to my future in medicine. With loans racking up, all I have to do is pretend I want the money for tuition, and I’m hired. No one can know the real reason for wanting this job.

But it isn’t as easy as it first seems. On my first night as a courtesan at a ball in Salem, I meet vampires for the first time—and flee.

Vampires are not easy dissuaded. And one in particular, Renato, offers me a proposal I find difficult to resist. He has a dark, smoldering appeal that lures me in. Plus, I might gain the insight I seek.

I’m supposed to provide a service and will be paid well for it. But my feelings complicate our arrangement—and endanger my life.

It was only meant to be three nights, but can I walk away now?

Welcome to the shadow world of Blood Courtesans…where vampires are real and blood is a commodity.
