To say that I was mildly surprised by the events of this novel is the understatement of the century. I have been a long time fan of author Victoria Danann's incredible series, and "Irish War Cry" is the third book in her fantastic Order of the Black Swan :Department of Interdimensional Trespass, and has only intrigued me more about the Order. I loved Torn Finngarick since his first introduction several books ago. And the Irish twins, Shivaun and Sheridan? Talk about explosive! I found this novel to be highly intriguing and makes me want to read more! It's very fast paced, and rarely slows. In short, I absolutely loved this tale! I do suggest reading the books in order to get the full exposure to this magnificent world.
Torn Finngarick is at a loss. His partner, Sheridan O'Malley, has gone missing on a routine trip through the passes! No one knows where or when she is, and if she got lost in the passes, she may never be found! This poses a huge problem for Torn, as Sheridan is not only his partner at work, but his mate in life and love too. He's close to going insane and then an unexpected visitor appears with news of Sheridan. Apparently, a demon named Lyric has abducted her. Now the problem is going to be a rescue. An unforeseen complication has since been discovered in the hunters, which again, poses a whole host of possible problems. To out it mildly, each hunter who has undergone the treatment is now different. Better. Enhanced. Now how these enhancements play into the rescue has yet to be seen? Can they save Sheridan? How will the hunters handle their new changes? And will this all come to a peaceful conclusion? Or will it end in a massive cliffhanger, leaving the reader begging for more? It certainly did me.
CRAP IN A CAULDRON
What if you woke up tomorrow to find you're no longer human?
New York Times bestseller, Victoria Danann, author of Best Paranormal Romance Series the past four years in a row, continues the fast paced and breathlessly sexy adventures of D.I.T.
Rosie hired Irish elf twins, Sheridan and Shivaun O'Malley for the newly formed Department of Interdimensional Trespass. They were wild and nearly feral, raised in the New Forest Preserve with no contact with the modern world until Black Swan made them the only female hunters other than the Lady Elora Laiken.
When Sher was assigned as Finngarick's partner, they were both stunned to find they weren't only partners, but fated mates. Blissful fated mates who enjoyed each other for the span of less than a month before Sher was abducted by one of the very demons they hunted.
Meanshile, the "Wild Bunch", Black Swan's new nickname for Rosie's hunters, has its own problems.
