This novel is hilarious. The love scenes are beyond scorching, and the tender moments are enough to make the hardest heart sigh. When reading Diary of a Vampire Stripper, I had many moments of laugh out loud hilarity, and more than a few tense, nail-biting moments. The story flows very well together, and the characters are wholly enchanting. I had so much fun reading this novel that I am finding it difficult to wait for the next installment! This is a rocking, fast paced, uproarious story that will leave audiences laughing hysterically and still totally heart warmed. For anyone who loves vampires and weres, and some seriously complex issues, this is the novel for you.
Audra is in way over her pretty little head. She is flat broke, and trying to juggle college and rent and find a job, and it’s not going well. Well, at least not until an interview at a local strip club. She does not expect to be given a job and is shocked beyond belief when she is accepted to become a stripper. And that’s where the fun begins. Bring in the addition of Darren, a gorgeous older vampire, Lucinda, a were, and a few other assorted characters, and Audra’s world takes a dramatic turn, often for the worse. After a romantic weekend away with Darren, things definitely change when Audra wakes up a vampire! Toss in a series of murders, vengeful cops bent on destroying the entire paranormal society in the area, and a lovesick flame named Paul, and you get this novel. What is a girl to do? Trust in her new vampire abilities, and a fantastic were best friend and hope for the best.
