Dangerous Games

Talk about explosive! This high action political thriller is a non-stop maelstrom of right and wrong, good and bad, life and death. I absolutely loved it. Author Tess Diamond created an epic world of traitors and assassins. The story beings with a kidnapping. It never once slows down; in fact, the further on it gets, the more intense it gets! I could not put it down. I loved Maggie Kincaid and Jake O’Connor, the hero and heroine of this tale. They are both ridiculously strong and driven, always striving to do what’s right. I would love to read more about this fantastic pair. I would recommend this novel for anyone seeking a major thrill.

Who would dare kidnap a Senator’s daughter? Why? These are two of the very first thoughts to cross former FBI agent Maggie Kincaid’s mind. And who is the muscle-bound jerk that’s trailing the Senator? That would be Jake O’Connor, a rough and tumble former soldier turned protection detail. As the kidnapper seems to stay several steps ahead of the team, Maggie and Jake know the clock is rapidly ticking down. The victim of the kidnapping, Kayla, is diabetic, and needs insulin on a regular basis. Odds are, she’s not getting it. Before they know it, Maggie and Jack are facing a much bigger enemy than anyone ever considered.

In Tess Diamond’s gripping debut, when an elite negotiator and a security expert team up to solve a kidnapping, the only thing higher than the tension is the heat . . .

Maggie Kincaid left the FBI two years ago and didn’t look back . . . until now. A senator’s daughter has been abducted, and the nightmare set in motion isn’t just familiar to Maggie, it’s personal. She’ll need all the help she can get to bring Kayla Thebes home alive—even if that help comes from a hot-as-hell ex-soldier who plays by his own rules. . .

For Jake O’Connor, negotiation equals weakness. But he’s immediately drawn to the sexy former agent who epitomizes strength. It isn’t long before he and Maggie are working together 24/7, learning to read each other’s signals and wanting much more.

But for Maggie and Jake, letting their guard down—even around each other—may be dangerous. Now, as they close in on a kidnapper with nothing to lose, their first mistake could shatter a young girl’s last chance…
