A Tale of Two Kingdoms

The Order of the Black Swan, #6

Ah, romance. What a beautiful story this is. As book number 6 in the amazing Order of the Black Swan series, all of the familiar, favorite characters are back. Elora, Ram, Helm, Rosie, Glen, and more are back and better than ever. The storyline picks up right where Book number 5 leaves off, so reading these books in order is highly recommended. This book’s storyline centers on two characters who haven’t played large parts in previous books, Aelsong and Duff. It moves very quickly, and is so very heartwarming. I will mention that it took many twists and turns that I, as a tremendous Black Swan fan, did not expect. This is a perfect addition to the Black Swan series, and I am eagerly anticipating the next installment.

Aelsong Hawking and Duff Torquil have a huge problem. She is a princess of the Elves. He is the Crown Prince of the Fae. What no one knows but them is that they are destined mates of each other. Yet with each side despising each other, and an active war still ongoing, even after several centuries, both know that there is little hope they can ever be together. Enter Elora and her infamous inquisitiveness. Elora has asked Glen to dig into the origins of the feud. While Glen is doing this, Duff is putting together his own plan. In the darkest of night, Duff and Song (with Elora’s help), elope and run away. When they arrive in Canada, under a supposed asylum, both families have made their move and the couple is separated. What happens next is beyond anyone’s wildest dream. Will peace ever come to the elves and the fae? Will Song ever be with Duff again? Come along on this wild adventure. It’s quite a crazy ride.

Book Blurb for A Tale of Two Kingdoms

Duff Torquil is heir to Scotia, the kingdom of Fae, who have been at war with the Elves for two thousand years. Fae and Elves are both species who have evolved to respond to one fated lover with whom they will mate for life. Duff Torquil’s predestined mate is perfect for him in every way: beautiful, smart, polished, strong willed and a talented psychic who works for The Order of the Black Swan. The only problem is that she’s Aelsong Hawking, the only daughter of the royal house of Elves.
