A Demon and His Psycho has got to be one of the most enjoyable, laugh out loud novels I have read in a very long time. It has plenty of action, as well as plenty of scorching hot love scenes. It tells the story of a very likeable, slightly crazy demon named Xaphon and an adorable cutie named Katie who has massive homicidal tendencies. They are an adorable pair, and each character is immensely likeable in their own way. A Demon and His Psycho will, quite honestly, leave many laughing hysterically as Xaphon and Katie trade barbs and snarky comments and deal with the denizens of Hell. It certainly made me laugh.
What on Earth was Lucifer thinking? Xaphon was paired up with the Underworld’s most notorious but still adorable killers! And all to find a missing dragon? What craziness is this? Xaphon is left to wonder as he is told of his orders to pair up with Katie to find Lucifer’s granddaughter’s missing pink dragon. And Katie is feeling about the same. Xaphon is grumpy and surly and so easy to annoy, which is precisely what Katie does. Katie, in all her bouncy goofiness, is certifiably crazy, and more often than not, her homicidal tendencies tend to bite her. Sit back and enjoy the ride as you travel with the surly Xaphon and the bouncy killer Katie to uncover a missing dragon, and mend two hearts in one mission. Can Xaphon get over his lost love of so many years ago? Can Katie learn to trust him? Will any denizens be left in Hell when they finish their mission? Take a ride with them and see where the story will lead.
I’m not crazy. I just have anger issues.
With a giggle and an outrageous mouth – perfect for things other than talking – Katie comes flying into Xaphan’s life, upsetting centuries of self-inflicted misery. How can he stay true to the one he lost when a bubbly psycho, with mismatched eyes, keeps consuming his thoughts – and awakening his desire?
So she was a tad bit nuts, Katie’s insanity came in handy as the Devil’s favorite problem solver. However, killing’s not on the menu when a dragon goes missing, and worse, Lucifer teams her up with Hell’s grumpiest demon. His rejection of her advances only makes her more determined to seduce him. And despite her violent reputation, a part of her is oddly tempted to let him live.
Welcome to Hell where the rules are always changing, the ash is constantly raining, and Lucifer is watching, waiting to steal your soul…
Warning: This story centers around a grumpy demon holding onto an ancient vow and a perky psycho (with killer tendencies) who is determined to make him snap. There's cursing, melt-your-screen hotness, messed up religious tropes, and snort out loud fun. If you enjoy raunchy humor, sizzling moments and already know you’re going to Hell, then dive on in.
