The Marriage Mistake

Marriage to a Billionaire, #3

The Marriage Mistake was everything I hoped it would be: Heartwarming, funny and sexy. Carina has grown into a confident and clever woman since the last installment. Max is powerful, strong and arrogant but in this story the reader gets to see his softer side. Carina still has feelings for Max but now things heat up when he can’t stop thinking of her. I love how Mama Conte continues to be a major plot mover in the series and I enjoy seeing the characters from the other two books living out their happily ever after. I hope that there is one more book in the series to find love for the last sister in the family and if there is you can guarantee I will be reading it.

Carina has had a crush on her brother’s best friend Max Gray for most of her life. Now that she is joining her brother to learn the ropes to take over the American branch of her family’s bakery and has to work under Max, she realizes all too soon that those feelings never went away. Max is expecting Carina Conte to be the same shy, overemotional girl that he’s always seen as a sister but when she comes breezing through the door looking confident and chic he is instantly overcome with lust. After giving in to their mutual desires on a business trip, they find themselves wed after being caught by Mama Conte. Now the tension and anger between them is like World War III. Is there any way they can find their happily ever after or will the resentment tear them apart?

Book Blurb for The Marriage Mistake

The third installment in the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling Marriage to a Billionaire series by “one of the most exciting breakout novelists” (USA TODAY) Jennifer Probst.

Carina Conte has had a crush on her brother Michael’s best friend, Max Gray, since she was a teenager back home in Italy. Now she’s earned her MBA and come to work at Michael’s new venture, America’s fastest-growing bakery empire. But some things never change: her overprotective family still treats her like a child. With three drop-dead gorgeous siblings, she’s still the ugly duckling of the bunch. And Max, the company’s new CEO, still barely notices her.

Max knows Carina Conte is strictly off-limits, for the sake of his job and his friendship with Michael. But hot-blooded lust wins out at a conference when the two share a scorching one-night stand—and are busted by her mother! Now, forced by old-world Italian tradition into a marriage he’s not ready for, Max is miserable—and Carina is furious. Her new husband is about to realize that hell hath no fury like a woman transformed…
