Duchess of Sin

Daughters of Erin, #2

Lady Anna Blacknall is bored with society life and continuously searches for something more exciting to fill a void inside her. Though she has decided to marry well for the sake of her mother and sisters, she is haunted by a kiss shared at Dublin's notorious club of vice, with a mysterious green eyed stranger from her past.

Conlan McTeer is in Dublin to gather people to help Ireland's fight for freedom. He cannot forget the rebellious girl he'd met during the uprising and cannot resist her now.

Against their wishes they are drawn into a world of intrigue and action. There have been multiple attempts on Lady Anna's life. Can Conlan save Lady Anna before it is too late?

This book is the second book in the series but does well as a standalone book. I haven't read the first book but after reading this one I plan to find the first book and I will be reading the third book when it comes out.

The plot is fast paced and leaves the reader guessing. I love the witty dialogue between the main characters and the ending was pleasing. The writing flowed and Ms. McKee's attention to historical accuracy was superb.

I can't wait to read about the bookish and proper third sister in the next installment.

For someone will do whatever it takes to destroy Conlan . . . and anyone he dares to love.
