Twisted will pull readers into the prodigious spell of Rebecca Zanetti! Deliciously tempting, I couldn't put my kindle down!
For ten years Maggie has been consumed by the darkness of her past. A wolf shifter, Maggie was taken against her will by the Kurjans and injected by an experimental drug. Most of her memories were shattered the day that poison entered her bloodstream. Now all Maggie has left of the life she once knew is the misty images and haunting dreams. Despite the odds against her, Maggie discovers a sense of security living amongst the vampires. When the vampire Lord asks Maggie to investigate drug tampering of the wolf packs she agrees. She never even in her wildest fantasies expected to be reunited with Terrent Vilks, a wolf that has a far deeper connection to Maggie then she could ever have thought was real.
Terrent Vilks claimed Maggie as his mate years before and then she was taken from him. In the years that followed Maggie's absences Terrent has been ridding the world of werewolves. Now that he’s been reunited with his mate Terrent isn't about to let Maggie go. Terrent is determined to make Maggie remember she is his true mate and against all odds reclaim the trust of the woman he loves.
Twisted is book 5.5 of The Dark Protectors series. I loved how Terrent was alpha, strong and dominant. He is the perfect hero! Zanetti’s writing had me rooting for the characters from the start of the novella! I recommend Twisted to fans and non-fans of paranormal fiction alike!
Thank you to Kensington Books-eKensingston for entrusting me with the arc for Twisted.
In human form, Terrent Vilks is all male animal--dark, ripped, predatory. As wolf, he's unforgettably dangerous, unforgettably hot. Yet Maggie can't remember him. . ..
Not even when she learns she once agreed to mate him. Yeah, that was years ago, before she was kidnapped and tortured, before she lost her memory. Now she knows just one thing about herself--she'll do whatever it takes to bring down the monsters who took her, even trust her ex.
He's got her right where he wants her. . .
