Libby Bishop creates a sinful tale of romance and haunting proportions with her novella Ghosts of Kingston Cottage!
Whether or not you are a fan of ghost hunting (personally I only think about ghosts at Halloween time) this novella is sure to appease! Its short, but all the pieces are well connected. It’s evident that Ms. Bishop has a talent for writing. Plus the fact that Lucas, the hero, is unbelievably attractive helps with the review!
Arabella Pierce has trust issues. It’s nothing she prides herself on nor has she always had to deal with the personal issues. A string of painful relationships that left her lonely has Arabella rethinking the whole point of love. Add in the factor that she is a medium and is currently working for Revenant Investigations as a Paranormal Investigator and it’s clear that her life is in a tangled web. To make matters worse she is being paired with skeptical reporter Lucas Brown. Attracted, slightly annoying and a huge skeptic Arabella knows that Lucas is completely the wrong guy for her. Still she can't ignore the instant attraction the she shares with him no matter how many red flag warnings there appear to be.
As a reporter for Debunk Media, Lucas knows that his lack of faith in all things Paranormal is what earned him the spot alongside the beautiful, yet distant Arabella Pierce. Lucas isn't out to judge instead it is his job to protect the public by making sure that investigators like Arabella are genuine. What Lucas seeks the most is the truth whether it’s a ghost haunting Kingston Cottage or some logical explanation. Lucas wants to see the evidence for himself. As the investigation of the cottage turns romantic Lucas and Arabella grow closer in their developing relationship. Can the two put aside their issues and discover the attraction that lays between them?
She believes in ghosts.
Medium and paranormal investigator Arabella Pierce is sent with her crew to Kingston Cottage, a haunted Maine seafarer’s cottage on an isolated island, but for this investigation, her boss has stuck them with skeptical reporter Lucas Brown. Though he’s hot as they come, Arabella can’t trust a man whose sole job is to discredit her and the work she does. Not after what happened with the last few skeptics...
He believes in evidence.
But Lucas isn’t as skeptical as he seems—he wants the truth, no matter what that is. When the ghosts appear, he and Arabella must work together—in tight quarters—to convince the resident ghosts to move on before a storm strands the entire crew on the island. If Arabella can put aside her prejudices, she and Lucas just might have a shot at a lifetime.
