Dancing with Paris

As both a fan of Parisian and time travel novels I absolutely adored Dancing with Paris. It’s gloriously written and a beauty of a romance.

Marriage therapist Claudia Davis has her life planed out. What Claudia hadn't thought of was meeting a gorgeous, French actor. The aftermath of her one night stand is an unwanted pregnancy. Could Claudia's life get any more complicated by the mistakes that she has made? After a tumble within her grandmother's store Claudia awakens to find herself in 1950's Paris. Only, Claudia is no longer herself. Instead she finds herself in the body of glamorous star Ruby Kerrigan of the risqué cabaret.

As the novel evolves Claudia discovers that the woman's body that she is currently harboring is the best friend to her grandmother. After Rudy is accused of a vicious murder plot it is up to Claudia to solve the crime. On her quest Claudia meets and falls in love with a physician. Fate steps in proving how cruel it truly is and Claudia realizes that she has just five days to find the true murderer, clear Ruby's name and confess to the man that she loves her true identity.

This book was not a dull read! There are many twists and turns and I loved almost all aspects of the book. The murder plot was different. I was expecting it but it added a great depth to the mystery of the novel. Overall this book was a great, romantic read! The Parisian atmosphere added charm and I think made the novel that much more enjoyable. I consumed this title in as little as two days. It was such a remarkable read! This book is highly recommend for adults seeking romance, time travel and mystery!

Book Blurb for Dancing with Paris

In Paris, a past life promises a second chance at love.

Straitlaced marriage therapist Claudia Davis had a plan—and it definitely did not involve getting pregnant from a one-night stand or falling for a gorgeous French actor. She thinks her life can’t possibly get more complicated. But when Claudia takes a tumble in her grandmother’s San Diego dance studio, she awakens in 1950s Paris in the body of Ruby Kerrigan, the glamorous star of a risqué cabaret—and the number-one suspect in the gruesome murder of a fellow dancer. As past lives go, it’s a doozy…especially when an encounter with a handsome and mysterious French doctor ignites a fire in Claudia’s sinfully beautiful new body.

But time, for all its twists and turns, is not on her side: Claudia has just five days to unmask the true killer, clear Ruby’s name, and return to the twenty-first century. To do so, she must make an impossible choice, one that will change the course of both of her lives forever.
