Shadows from the Past
Shadows from the Past by Lisa Marie Davis are a story that revolves around Chase Churchill a graphic novelist and his twisted family.
Chase reminds me of a super hero’s alter ego. Especially after he finds out his serial killer father is dead and his wacko estranged brother Joel outs him as the author C A Hill the son of the killer Samuel Churchill.
Chase is reunited with NYPD detective Kayne Kennedy the man Chase loves but cannot commit to because of his family, when his agent Barry is murdered by his brother who wants to continue his father’s “mission” after punishing Chase for turning his back on his family.
With a lot of twists and heart wrenching soul searching and with Kayne by his side Chase tries to stop his brother. And while doing that he also discovers a lot about whom and what he is.
Lisa Marie Davis is a wonderful author who knows how to keep her readers involved with her stories!
