His Hearth by author Mary Calmes was a very interesting story with hopefully a few sequels in its future. I will admit I had to reread this story in order to understand Mary’s rhythm to her writing but it was well worth it.
The story opens with Julian Nash having to explain to his best friends why he is dateless for the party his company is giving. The party is for the promotion he and his best friend Cash received.
Ryan Dean a model/talk show host and client of Julian, saves him from a confrontation with his two timing date in the bar where the party is being held. Ryan ends up as Julian’s date, something that he has wanted for a while. Julian thinks Ryan is hot but has reservations because he doesn’t think he is in Ryan’s league.
Ryan has a secret and Julian is the only one who can come to his rescue.
While reading this story I felt like I was watching several different dances all mixed together. From a Waltz to a Tango to some Break Dancing. Give His Hearth and author Mary Calmes a whirl.
