Commanding Acquisitions by Christine d’Abo was a wonderfully well written story.
Simon Matthews is a Dom who has put his personal life on hold while he tries to get his business which is a book store back on track. Simon’s cousin Jocelyn works for him and is a very sweet young woman who is constantly worried about Simon and his nonexistent love life. After finding a strange business card while going through his mail Simon thinks it’s just another scheme to get him back in the dating pool. After all who would have a business card with just a phone number on it? 1-800-DOM-help?
Simon decides to give the number a try. The operator gives him the name of a club which Simon decides to check out. There he meets the sub of his dreams.
Gavin Cross is a sub who has been without a Dom for a few years. When he spots Simon sitting by himself he can’t help feel drawn to the man. But Gavin has some serious personal problems to work through and his overwhelming attraction to Simon scares him deeply.
Can these two wonderful men work through their problems together?
This book was well written and the characters were loveable and endearing. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did.
