The Lucky Penny Ranch needs lots of work, so Blake Dawson hires Allie Logan and her carpentry skills to get things in order, but it’s not long before her brown eyes and dangerous curves have him roped and tied in this exciting western romance.
Allie Logan has given up on dating since shedding her no-good ex and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the sizzling electricity between Allie and Logan as he sets out to convince Allie that a wild cowboy can be tamed. The chemistry has sparks flying in every direction, but Allie’s past and her family keep getting in the way not to mention all the other want to be girlfriends who keep trying to get Blake’s attention, all of which has some heated clashes and passionate encounters adding lots of spice to the story. Strong, charismatic characters grab the reader’s attention while they add a touch of flair and drama to the romance and the fast paced, smooth flowing plot excites readers with suspense, chemistry and romance with some laughter and fun being found throughout the story.
Anticipation builds as Allie begins working at the ranch while trying to deny the sparks and a special grandma with a bit of a memory problem adds quite a bit of drama, excitement and sweetness to the story. The story is well written with vivid details that make it easy for the reader to become immersed in the story while the intriguing events draw the reader in and refuse to let go.
The Lucky Penny Ranch’s reputation adds quite a bit of spice to the story making it a wonderful setting for this feisty romance. Allie and Blake’s personalities complement each other without going too far and I really enjoyed spending time with them, so I am looking forward to visiting the ranch again.
SOMETIMES ALL LOVE NEEDS IS A LITTLE LUCK
Allie Logan isn't the type to land a hot hunk of cowboy. Truth is, she's given up on dating since shedding her no-good ex. But the new owner of the most ramshackle ranch in Texas might just change her mind about that. He's six-foot-plus of tall, dark, and charming-the kind of guy who could make a girl throw caution to the wind . . . or the kind of guy who could break her heart.
Blake Dawson hopes he can make Lucky Penny Ranch finally live up to its name, but the property needs a ton of work. Allie and her carpentry skills are his best shot at getting things in order. Besides the fact that her brown eyes and dangerous curves have him roped and tied. Now Blake only needs to convince her that a wild cowboy can be tamed by love-and she's just the one to do it . . .
