The newest book in The Pack series intrigues and fascinates with a new twist in the werewolf lineage and a story that captures the heart.
Held captive, tortured and experimented on, Lilly Gideon believes her beast to be a monster and fears she will never be normal. Pack Protector, Kane McGraw never gets involved with the victims he saves, but when he agrees to protect Lilly from the remaining cultists, his wolf can’t stay away. The steady to fast paced plot keeps reader’s on the edge of their seat with action, suspense and romance. The story comes to life with vivid imagery, details and strong bewitching characters that grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
The romance between Kane and Lilly slowly burns hotter and hotter as they work through Lilly’s emotional issues and Kane’s resistance to having a mate. The author conveys all the emotions that the couple goes through with such vibrant intensity that the reader can’t help but get caught up in the drama as it unfolds. Lilly captures the heart and brings tears to the reader’s eyes and smiles when things begin to improve for the strong young woman whose strength inspires admiration at what she has overcome. I fell in love with this series with the very first book, with every book in this series being an adventure and this one was no exception, I was totally engrossed in the book from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down. The author keeps surprising me with twists and unexpected elements that I certainly don’t anticipate. The suspense always manages to send shivers up my spine and the characters never fail to draw me deeper into their stories and always make me feel as if I am part of this world.
