Slate's Mistake

Kaska Pack, #2

Just as Slate finds his human mate, life throws a wrench in the works with continuous challenges including a threat to his mate that may or may not go away when they mate in this exciting paranormal romance.

Katie may have the same disease that killed her mother so when her mate charges in she’s not so sure she’s ready to bind herself to him considering that it just might take him with her and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Slate and Katie work out their relationship amidst battles while their attraction explodes from the pages with some fiery sex scenes. All of the members of the Kaska Pack demand their share of the attention but I have to say that Slate and Katie certainly deserve their share of it and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps lots of excitement flowing with suspense, action and passion.

There’s never a dull moment as they struggle to help out the herd of Gale’s former alpha and have to contend with some dangerous men from that pack and then Slate’s father causes some major problems that has him heading straight back into danger. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and the well orchestrated events draw the reader into all the action packed excitement right along with the characters.

The fascinating world that the author has created just gets better with more intriguing characters and interesting elements and the Kaska Pack is growing which gives reader’s more characters to fall for, of course challenging situations seem follow as well. I was completely taken with Slate and Katie’s story and I really enjoyed the surprising conclusion – hmmm, I wonder what’s going to happen next?
