Abigail Grant had a plan to keep her sister from suffering the same fate as her which would have worked until she plucked from the life she wanted to escape into circumstances that may be dangerous or that may be her salvation in this rockin’ paranormal romance.
Luke has every intention of changing his destiny through sheer willpower and a little blue pill and the reader can’t help but get pulled into the story when he inadvertently gets mixed up in the Grant sisters’ troubles and finds that fate has her own plans. The attraction between Luke and Abby is sizzling hot but Luke sets off a chain of events that keeps this relationship on very rocky ground, in fact, I don’t know if there could be anyone more oblivious to what’s right in front him which keeps thing quite entertaining adds interesting quandaries and of course has intense emotions flowing from every page. Strong, captivating characters demand reader’s attentions while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the relationship rockin’ with lots of suspense, turmoil, excitement and passion.
Luke interfering with destiny arouses reader’s curiosity right from the start, which in turn builds lots of anticipation but most of the turbulent excitement stems from his actions while handling the situation he created while intrigue builds due to the secrets that both Luke and Abby withhold from each other that leads to some disturbing discovering. The scenes are well written and full of great details that make it easy for the reader to become engrossed in the story while the intriguing events hold them hostage.
You know the author does a great job, when the characters come to life and the readers become so caught up in their lives that they just wants to reach over and knock some sense into the characters’ heads, which is exactly what happened (several times) as I read Luke and Abby’s story along with causing a few chuckles and I can’t wait to read the next one.
