Madison's Song

Scott Lee saved her from an evil sorcerer and Madison Carter repaid him by being terrified of him but to help her brother she turns to him for help and now they will have to save each other in this exciting paranormal romance.

Scott has loved her from afar but he’s convinced that he will never deserve her and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as they come together and overcome fears and uncover hidden strengths in order to survive. The attraction between Madison and Scott sizzles from every page despite how much they fight the pull and the romance is sweet but fear is a terrible thing when it’s been part of your life for as long theirs have been and the reader’s heart can’t help but get captured by the emotional turbulence that binds Scott and Madison as the well written scenes and details keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense and romance.

Madison’s brother calls for help and promptly goes missing which builds lots of tension as the plot thickens and a sinister plan is revealed which adds lot of dangerous excitement as it places Scott in a no win situation. The scenes and details are well written and capture the imagination making it easy for the reader to become immersed in the story while the intriguing events keeps the readers glued to the pages and unexpected twists keeps them on their toes and the awakening of Madison’s gift adds quite a bit of magical spice.

The author’s world is fascinating with lots of interesting and different elements and I was completely enthralled with the story from the very beginning. I haven’t read the Cassie Scot series (yet) so it was a pleasant surprise when I was checking out the other books by Christine Amsden and I discovered this book is part of the same world, so I would like to point out that while the characters are connected, this story can be read as a standalone.
