Darkness Bound

Night Prowler #5

Adrenaline pumping suspense and thrills entertain readers throughout this mesmerizing paranormal romance. Reporter, Jacqueline “Jack” Dolan is kidnapped by the very shape-shifters would see destroyed and is soon captivated by Hawk Luna but as the danger closes in all around them, their forbidden passion may build a bridge between two ancient enemies – or cost them both their lives.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot quickly lures readers in with actions and suspense and keeps them on the edge of their seat until the very end. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that spark the imagination and spine tingling tension builds as the danger to Jack and Hawk escalates with well orchestrated action and suspense scenes that are exciting and believable. There are a great number of strong compelling characters that captivate the reader and that ensure that the reader wants to know more about these Ikati.

The chemistry between Hawk and Jack send sparks flying everywhere, but spooks the heck out of them as neither in the market for a relationship, but hey the sex scenes are explosive. The relationship progresses slowly throughout the book not only due to their reluctance, and quite a few other extenuating circumstances. The reader’s heart is captured by both characters and their emotional issues, but at the same time they both need a knock upside the head. Lots of drama and snarky dialogue between the couple and other characters adds spice and depth to the story.

The author also spins a few surprises into the story to keep the readers guessing and the bad guys of course adds lots of excitement, but Caesar’s not the only enemy, there is another set on destroying the Ikati as well. This story is full of excitement and captivating characters and I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait to read the next one.
