Though he hoped to never find the one, Dylan was lost with the chance meeting of the woman with red hair and blue eyes who tempts his most primal nature and the reader can’t help but get pulled into the suspense as Sierra finds herself using abilities she doesn’t believe in to help save the lives the wolf pack before Dylan runs out of time. The relationship has a bit of a handicap as Sierra doesn’t know about the world of werewolves and witches and of course the major block being the curse but there is no denying the sizzling chemistry and scorching heat with some steamy sex scenes which all comes together with emotional turmoil that adds to the suspense and adds depth to these strong captivating characters that capture the readers’ attention as the fast paced, smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance.
Tension builds as Sierra tries to come to terms with her new world all while racing time to find a way to break the curse before her brother and Dylan succumb with lots of excitement building as the discovery of who placed the curse sets them on a dangerous path and conflicts within the pack causing additional friction and problems as well. The well written scenes and details paint vivid images that make it easy for the reader to become immersed in this fascinating new world while the intriguing events ensure that there is never a dull moment.
Brandy Rivers and Rebecca Brooke make a great team as they have created a wonderful new world where werewolves and witches reside with interesting elements, adrenaline pumping suspense and sexy characters that draw you in to their world and refuse to let go and I have to tell you that there was not one moment in the story that I could have put this book down and I can’t wait to read the next one.
