Bound to Danger

A Deadly Ops Novel, #2

Adrenaline pumping action and suspense keeps the pages turning in this thrilling romantic suspense. Maria Cervantes is almost killed in an explosion after overhearing a terrorists plot and before she even has a chance to fully recover a man from her past Agent Cade O’Reilly is whisking her off to safety because the memories locked inside her mind could get her killed.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with action, suspense, drama and romance. The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and well orchestrated action and suspense scenes that are exciting, believable and make the reader feel as if they are part of the story. Tensions rise throughout the story as explosions rock Miami and the death toll continues to climb and the strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The attraction between Maria and Cade is hot enough set things aflame and the sex scenes hot enough to cause a few explosions of their own. The romance began years ago for these two but past issues kept Cade away and now that he’s back in her life, he’s finds it hard to stay objective and Maria wants to stay mad at him but it’s kind of hard when he keeps saving her life. The reader can’t help but be drawn into Maria’s story as this woman bravely handles everything that is happening to her.

The author provides non-stop action and suspense, lots of intriguing characters and surprising twists and turns that makes it impossible for the reader to put the book down. Katie Reus always manages to captivate the reader with her stories and this series is no different and I can’t wait to read the next one.
