The attraction between Maria and Cade is hot enough set things aflame and the sex scenes hot enough to cause a few explosions of their own. The romance began years ago for these two but past issues kept Cade away and now that he’s back in her life, he’s finds it hard to stay objective and Maria wants to stay mad at him but it’s kind of hard when he keeps saving her life. The reader can’t help but be drawn into Maria’s story as this woman bravely handles everything that is happening to her.
The author provides non-stop action and suspense, lots of intriguing characters and surprising twists and turns that makes it impossible for the reader to put the book down. Katie Reus always manages to captivate the reader with her stories and this series is no different and I can’t wait to read the next one.
