“Time for Kids Big Book of When” is a great jumping off point for almost any subject your kids wish to explore. Whether it's a question about when pizza was invented or when the Internet began; there's an answer in the book. I liked that answers aren't just one word or sentence. The explanations are clear, concise and often accompanied by photos. There's always more questions to entice the reader into further research.
My teens spent many a dinnertime playing 'Did you know?". I was able to use the book as great idea place for my younger kids to find topics to write about. This is a great homeschool resource but would be equally useful to fill the long summer days with some fun and knowledge.
“The Big Book of When” joins other titles like Why, How and Where. It contains answers to dozens of questions about when something happened or was invented. Topics range from ice cream to texting to shooting stars. Clear answers and fascinating pictures make for an enjoyable and educational experience.
