This is another great question and answer book. This time it's the solar system and space that are the topics. This book has absolutely stunning photos accompany concise and informative answers to questions that many kids (and adults to) have about our nearest neighbors. The format is interesting and works well with younger children, but I found my older kids enthralled with the pictures and they went looking for more info on some of these topics. That's a great recommendation for a book. I love this series as much as the kids. There are high interests and lots of jumping off points to further investigate.
This Good Question book tackles the Solar System and its contents. There are answers to questions like, 'Are there volcanoes on Mars?' and 'How did Saturn get its rings?'. The format is engaging and includes beautiful photos. This makes for a great combo to spark the interest of any child.
Why is there life on earth? How did Saturn get its rings? Which planet is biggest, which one's hottest—and which has a cloud named Scooter? Take a trip into outer space to learn about the asteroid belt, Martian volcanoes, dwarf planets, and other fascinating facts about our universe.
