Jewel is one kick butt trainee cop, and Indigo is a spicy doctor. Together, they steam up the pages. Their chemistry is palpable from their first meeting, but they don't consummate their relationship until much farther along in the book than one might expect. Because it took them so long to finally seal the deal, I found myself no longer as invested in their relationship. Plus, one of my biggest pet peeves is overly gushy couples. I could've mopped up the gush it was that drenched.
I have to say that it's my own fault for not liking Head Over Wheels as much as I possibly could have. I read others' reviews and with that gorgeous cover and blurb...I was expecting something entirely different and was disappointed with what I received. That's not to say it wasn't enjoyable, it was, it just wasn't up to par for my expectations.
