From What I Remember...

From What I Remember begins at the end; it’s the morning of graduation, Kylie is valedictorian, and she’s in bed with one of the most attractive guys in her grade. To top it all off, they’re in Mexico. Let me rephrase, stranded in Tiijuana. So spins the whirlwind last couple of days as Kylie and her misfit bunch recall what they did, who they did it with, and how to fix it all the while making it back to graduation in time.

The beginning had a very The Hangover film aura about it. It was fabulous, and something I’d never read before. Everything seemed to come crashing down on the teens at once, much like real life does in twisted turns of fates. I firmly believe this book will have a lot of influence on teens because it not only addresses teen drinking; it discusses real problems with today’s youth. The red cup cover will certainly pull readers in.

With five points of view, the book passes quickly in a tornado of excitement. It’s a great concept for a teen read. It is most certainly for older readers, though.

Book Blurb for From What I Remember...

KYLIE: Tijuana WHAT? I should be putting the finishing touches on my valedictorian speech. Graduation is TODAY! And is this a wedding band on my finger?? MAX: It all started with Kylie's laptop and a truck full of stolen electronics Okay, it was kind of hot, the way she broke us out like some chick in an action movie. But now we're stranded in TIjuana. WIth less than twenty-four hours before graduation. Awesome. WILL:Saving Kylie Flores from herself is kind of a full-time occupation. Luckily, I, Will Bixby, was born for the job. And when I found out she was stuck in Meixco with dreamy Max Langston, sure, I agreed to bring thier passports across the border--but there's no reason to rush back home right away. This party is just getting started. LILY:I just walked in on my boyfriend, Max Langston, canoodling with Kylie Flores, freak of the century. Still, I can't completely hold it against him. He NEEDS me. It's even clearer now. And I'm not giving him up wtihout a fight.
