Midnight Thunder

Thunder Mountain Brotherhood

It’s always fun to find a romance that is filled with hunky guys, a heartwarming story, and enough loose threads that there will be more tales to follow. This Harlequin Blaze book meets all three criteria, plus it has a couple of four-footed characters who help enrich the story by sharing their own journey of love. The author did a wonderful job of providing both a history filled with painful events and uplifting ones, giving glimpses of the men that the ‘Brotherhood’ have become, and detailing the somewhat rocky road to love and family that one of the trio has travelled. I love the ‘horse singing’ technique and the affirmation that love and patience can reverse some of the damage that abuse inflicts and I hope to get a chance to read about the other two members of this sexy triad as they find their own happy ever afters. This is a great light read that will both satisfy and leave one anxious to learn more about the ‘Thunder Mountain Brotherhood’.

“Midnight Thunder” by Vicki Lewis Thompson is part of the ‘Thunder Mountain Brotherhood’ series and features cowboy Cade Gallagher, who is suddenly drawn back to the home where he found love and acceptance with his foster brothers, Damon and Finn. The discovery that the parents of their hearts need their help, plus the renewed acquaintance with Lexi Simmons reminds Cade of all that he has left behind. Now, he just has to determine whether his goals in life and Lexi’s are as compatible as they once were.

Book Blurb for Midnight Thunder

The lost cowboy…

Thunder Mountain Ranch was the only place cowboy Cade Gallagher had ever called home. But after he and Lexi Simmons broke each other's hearts, he left it behind, along with his foster family. Since then, Cade has drifted, looking for something—anything—to call home. Until a call from Lexi changes everything…

Cade has been gone too long. His foster mother is hospitalized, and the ranch is in deep financial trouble. Yet even as his world crumbles, Cade's hunger for Lexi is almost as tangible as the taste of her lips and the way her body fits deliciously against his. It's bittersweet surrender. But Lexi isn't the girl she used to be, and she's determined to have the hot cowboy in her bed only if she keeps him out of her heart.
