Illicit Relations

An erotic m/m romance that poses an interesting conundrum about what is morally and ethically acceptable given that these partners would not be creating a child. The intimate encounters are definitely spicy but it strained credulity to think that, having waited such an inordinate amount of time to consummate their relationship, it would need to take place at such an inappropriate venue. I had a bit of trouble believing that Terry’s mom could wait quite so long to notice how unhappy her son is and the solution seemed a little too convenient to me. This is still a fun quick read but definitely requires a suspension of disbelief.

“Illicit Relations” by Lucy Felthouse is part of the ‘Boys Will Do Boys’ erotic romance series and relates the tale of Terry Kroft who struggles with his attraction for his second cousin Justin. Neither male has admitted his desire for the other and their family connection may be an insurmountable obstacle until someone else intervenes.
