This erotic novella features a dedicated SEAL and the woman who captures his attention during a well-earned trip back to the States but who is understandably reluctant to get involved with a military man, given her past history. SEALs are not known for backing down from a challenge and this warrior is determined to achieve his objective, making sure that they are both thoroughly satisfied during the limited amount of time he has available. Unfortunately, this deliciously sensual read only delivers a brief episode in the life of this SEAL but it is an entertaining quick read and I look forward to reading more in this series.
“Coyote Heat” by Desiree Holt is part of the ‘Seals on Fire’ series and features Miguel Cruz, known as Coyote, who is in Miami with his fellow members of SEAL Team Arapaho to catch a little rest and relaxation. His search for temporary companionship and oblivion may be handicapped by his inauspicious meeting with computer game software tester Cori Sutherland and her disenchantment with military men. Their mutual enjoyment of each other’s bodies gradually deepens into feelings that they want to explore further, but unfortunately, a SEAL has to honor his commitments, and only time will tell if Cori will have her heart broken by yet another military man.
A wild weekend in Key West with Team Arapaho is just what Navy SEAL Miguel "Coyote" Cruz needs after a tough mission. Cold beer and hot women. The last thing he expects is to meet a woman who singes his body with the slighted touch and stokes the fire in his guarded heart. Too bad she's determined not to fall for a military man.
