This erotic contemporary romance is a a great quick read featuring a charismatic couple who are wary of getting close enough to see past the stereotypes. Their sizzling attraction makes it difficult for them to address the scars that each carries from the past because they are too busy indulging their carnal appetites during their brief escape from reality, and my, what a incandescent weekend they share. This was a great combination of sensuality and emotion tied up in a nice compact story which does fine as a stand alone even though it is the second in a series. A very enjoyable read and I look forward to the next in the series.
“All Tangled Up” is a contemporary romance novella that is part of the ‘Revved Up’ series by Crystal Jordan which centers around a reality show about restoring classic cars. Lola Adams is the show’s new producer but has always had trouble getting people to appreciate her for her knowledge and talent rather than her physical assets and family connections. Jesse Kasen owns and operates the business that is featured on the show but has concerns about the attractive new producer. Their mutual lust for each other threatens to derail any chance of a professional relationship on the set so it’s a good thing that they are both willing to engage in a one-time weekend fling to get it out of their system. But will it?
Second in the Revved Up series.
The reality show Revved Up has made Kasen’s Kustom Automotive a national sensation. For garage co-owner Jesse Kasen, the only fly in his ointment is Lola Adams, the show’s producer. The little Georgia peach is a blonde bombshell. All he can think about when she’s around is what she’d look like all tangled up in his sheets.
Lola might use her sexuality to get what she wants, but it’s her knowledge of cars, courtesy of her auto-racing family, that got her the producer spot on Revved Up. Jesse is hot and the star of all her recent steamy fantasies. Too bad he’s off limits—she won’t risk her professional reputation on a fling.
Jesse sees one solution to their problem—burn off this attraction in bed and get on with business. Lola agrees because she has to know what it’s like to touch him, but she wants demands discretion. One sex-filled weekend in his secluded cabin, no strings attached. But one weekend might not be enough.
