Something Wicked This Way Comes

Romance Fiction Fantasy

Wow, I wish I could say I did not think of this plot line as a paranormal romance, but, I did too. The allure of angels, fallen angles at that, coming to mate with human women is an interesting storyline. Based, in part, on a tale in the Book of Enoch, which tells of a time before the “flood” of Noah’s time, where fallen angels mated with human women and had children that were an abomination in God’s eyes. Humans are tempted by these fallen angels and all God can do is watch as the humans he has given “free will” to, turn their backs on him. Will this be the end of mankind?
I loved the main characters’ strength, perseverance, morals, love and loyalty. These characters live in a time when difficult choices must be made to stay strong through faith or choose the easy path to inevitable destruction. This novel had me at the edge of my seat wondering the fate of its characters until the end.  Many deep issues of religion, faith, sacrifice and love are addressed in this romance. The author, Leslie LeBlanc, has my attention and I will be looking to her future novels for more enticing and spellbinding storylines.

How can one man fight against creatures with powers he can't understand and protect all of mankind? Especially when Naomi is so devastatingly distracting?
