Evangeline can wield magick a very rare special kind of magick…she is able to take people's emotions and manipulate them into what is needed or into what she wishes. She has spent years studying to become one of the J’Edaeii or the Jeweled ones.a select group of people that are then expected to marry into the Edaeii family to bring magick back to the royal family. Now finally she has achieved her goal…a beautiful sapphire jewel set in the perfect base of her lower back. On the eve of her victory she finds herself on the run of her life.
A revolution has come to the country of Rylisk. The lower casts have risen up and taken out the royal family and any of the J’Edaeii they can get their hands on. The leader of the Revolutionaries Gregorio had not seen the revolution going off quite the way it did. He could not believe the carnage that the people have created. When he is given the chance to help Evangeline and Anatol, he takes a chance and brings them into his home. The more he gets to know Evangeline the more he starts to fall for her, only one problem is very obvious…Anatol loves her also.
As I read Jeweled I found myself forgetting that I was supposed to be reading it for a review. The story is one that just draws you into its depth and makes you turn the pages as fast as you can possibly while taking in the text on each page. I think this is probably one of the greatest compliments that I can give a book since I love to spend my spare minutes reading almost anything I can get my hands on. But then I would expect no less from the extremely talented Anya Bast whose books I have enjoyed since I first discovered her just a couple of years ago. If you have never had the pleasure of reading one of her books then I would greatly suggest that you start with her brand new book Jeweled.
A new series of erotic magic and fantasy from the New York Times bestselling author.

They share something else-they're both targets of low-born revolutionaries. Rescued by Gregorio, the brilliant revolutionary mastermind, they're given sanctuary. But in this warm refuge, Evangeline soon finds herself torn between the magic of one man she has always desired, and the excitingly new and radical moves of another. For her, there is only one choice: indulge in pleasure without limits.
